How to Install python-libpcap software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

python-libpcap software package provides Python wrapper for libpcap packet capture library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install python-libpcap

python-libpcap is installed in your system.

Make ensure the python-libpcap package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-libpcap *

You will get with python-libpcap package name, version, architecture and description in a table
